Business as Justice is the belief that business can be a force for good — not just profit. It means understanding communities’ needs and finding ways to address them with equity, restoration, empowerment and integrity in mind.

  • Partnership with PRISM EDC to transform Milwaukee’s Sherman Park Neighborhood

    Our partnership with PRISM Economic Development Corporation serves as the proving ground for the WI+H movement, demonstrating how churches can drive community transformation through business. Since 2011, PRISM has launched six businesses and multiple programs in Milwaukee’s Sherman Park community.

  • Engaged 60+ Churches that have brought hope to their communities

    We have expanded our mission across the country, engaging churches in cities including Orlando, Los Angeles, Detroit and Milwaukee.

  • Inspired and facilitated the start of multiple gospel-centered businesses

    Our movement has inspired local leaders to launch businesses that strengthen community, including laundromats, art galleries, grocery stores, and hydroponic farming.

  • Witnessed community wealth growth and BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) started

    Our movement has enhanced neighborhood commerce, infrastructure and sustainability, proving the power of the church as a catalyst for change.
